American River Rugby Club
The AR Rugby Club is excited to compete in USA Rugby’s Division 1 AA.
Our club will provide an opportunity for students to compete at some of the highest levels collegiate rugby has to offer while fostering productive relationships among players and organizations active in the sport of rugby.
In the Clubs inaugural season 2023-2024 it will be led by Head Coaches Zach Swithenbank and Josh Fitzgerald along with Club President Jack Ferguson.
Members of our club will have the opportunity to gain lifelong friendships, leadership skills, and strong personal character attributes. The game itself is fast-paced and exciting. We will provide a framework where new players can learn about rugby and advanced players can improve their current skills. All players are given the opportunity to pass, catch, kick, tackle, run and more!
