Student Jobs

There are a variety of campus departments that hire students for paid positions.

Learning Resource Center
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) and the Beacon/Tutorial Center accept applications on an ongoing basis and hiring will generally take place at the beginning of each term, or as needed.

The ARC Library hires students to help in the Circulation and Reference areas. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and positions are filled as needed.

Math Learning Center (MLC)
The MLC hires students on an ongoing basis to tutor online math courses up through Intermediate Algebra (Math 120).

ARC's Disability Services & Programs for Students (DSPS) offers employment and volunteer opportunities. DSPS is occasionally looking for notetakers and in-class aides for fall and spring semesters. If you enjoy taking notes during class and are organized and reliable, DSPS needs you! Volunteer notetakers receive certificates of appreciation; paid positions are available for well-qualified students. To inquire, please contact Mike Warner.

Los Rios Human Resources
The Los Rios Human Resources office manages hiring for a variety of full-time and part-time positions at American River College, Cosumnes River College, Folsom Lake College, and Sacramento City College.
