Student Rights and Responsibilities

American River College (ARC) students exercise the same rights as other members of the community and are accountable to the same federal and state laws and statutes. In addition, ARC students are accountable to Los Rios Community College District (LRCCD) Board Policies and Administrative Regulations, and ARC Rules. The following Expectations of Behavior and Conduct are based upon those policies and regulations. They have been adopted by ARC to protect the rights and privileges of all students and to allow the college to function effectively.
