Internship Info Month: Summer 2023 Internships with SMUD

SMUD’s Summer Internship Program opens its application period from January 3 through 31, 2023. SMUD hires up to 25 interns as part of our program with internship opportunities available across the organization.

The Summer Internship Program runs May 30 through August 18.

College internship details:

• 12-week paid internship
• Work up to 130 hrs per month
• Develop and enhance your leadership skills
• Innovate and implement new ideas

Minimum requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 undergraduate units) and maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA in the spring semester of 2023
• Must be graduating summer of 2023 or later
• If graduating in summer semester of 2023, must provide proof of summer enrollment
• Have no relatives working at SMUD
