American River College offers associate degrees for transfer (sometimes called AD-T) to the California State University (CSU) system. Transfer degrees provide a clear pathway to attend a CSU and get a bachelor's degree.
Transfer Degree Guarantee
Students who receive an AA-T or AS-T degree are guaranteed:
- Admission to a CSU with junior standing
- Priority admission consideration1 to their local CSU campus or to a program that is similar to their community college major
1 This priority does not guarantee admission to specific majors or campuses.
Students who have been awarded an AA-T or AS-T can complete their remaining requirements for the 120-unit baccalaureate degree within 60 semester or 90 quarter units at a CSU campus.
Current and prospective community college students are encouraged to meet with a counselor to review their options for transfer and explore additional degrees that may be under development at this time.
