- A graduation regalia package (includes cap, gown, and tassel) will be purchased along with an EOPS sash/stole for EOPS student participants in good standing, who petition to graduate for either the fall or spring of the current academic year and who plan to participate in the college’s graduation ceremony during the spring term of that same year.

The EOP&S Program opens the program application for new recruitment twice a year: Fall term (mid-November) and Spring term (mid-April). The application period is generally open for approximately 2-3 weeks. When the application is not open, interested students are encouraged to complete the “Application Interest Form” to get on the program’s interest list. Students signed up on the interest list will be notified first when the application opens up for the next open application period.
The following steps are important first steps to consider before applying to the ARC EOP&S Program:
- Review the EOP&S Program Eligibility section
- Students new to the college, please review the Placement and Assessment information and process for placements.
- Be ready to upload a copy of your Student Education Plan (SEP)
- ARC students can meet with a general Counselor and make a course plan for at least 12 units for the term in which they are applying for participation.
- Be ready to upload unofficial high school transcripts (if applicable to show a GPA of 2.49 or below)
- Be ready to upload unofficial transcripts from all other colleges that you have attended (you will also be advised to send official transcripts to the Admissions Office for course transfer evaluations)
All current participants are encouraged to stay in communication with the program throughout participation. Please send an email to the program through myeops@arc.losrios.edu with any questions. Remember to include your full name, Student ID number, and phone number with your questions or requests.
- Please follow the information on the “Important Dates” document given to you by the program each term and posted to the My EOPS at ARC Canvas shell.
- Student counseling appointments are available on-ground, by phone, and/or via Zoom.
- Please call (916) 484-8128 to schedule your counseling appointments. *Note: three counseling contacts are required each term.
- To access your Student Education Plan (SEP), log into your eServices, select the "Academic Records" tab, and then select “Student Ed Plan” in the menu.
Eligibility of program participation and services will continue dependent on that the student participant maintains the Mutual Responsibility Contract (MRC) agreements that were signed during the application process and that the student is under the 70-degree applicable unit limit (unless the student is in a college-designated high unit major). NextUp student participants are exempt from the unit limit requirement.
Student Services Resource Center: Academic Tutoring
