ARC Library Research Tutorials in Canvas
This is a free, self-paced course for ARC students created by Los Rios Librarians. These tutorials provide insight on the college level research process to help you get familiar with or improve upon your academic research skills. These tutorials also introduce the Library’s primary research tool, OneSearch, which includes access to ebooks, scholarly articles, magazines, newspapers, and more found in most Los Rios databases, as well as physical books in the Los Rios Libraries.
On average, each lesson takes about 30 minutes. You can do just a few, or all the modules. After passing the module's quiz with a score of 75% or more, students will unlock a certificate of completion for each module, which can be downloaded (JPG file) and submitted for other Canvas courses, printed, and/or emailed.
