Law Enforcement Courses
Vaccine Requirement Lifted
The vaccine requirement has been lifted for all Los Rios students and employees as of Monday, November 14.
Our law enforcement programs offer basic courses oriented toward meeting specific entry-level training needs for criminal justice and state regulatory agencies. These courses are certified by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) and/or California Commission on Standards and Training for Corrections (STC). Most courses are in an intensive short-term format. Graduates from these programs may be eligible for employment in municipal, county or state law enforcement agencies specializing in law enforcement, corrections, and probation.
