Affordable, Convenient Electrician Trainee Program

Do you prefer to learn outside of the classroom? Do you want to earn as you learn? American River College offers an exciting Electrician Trainee program that teaches students in a skills-building, hands-on learning environment that also provides you with opportunities to continue to earn!

With a total of only 28.5 total units, the program is focused on teaching you the real-life skills that will be used every day in your career. We know that flexibility is a key component to helping you complete the program on time and getting you to your career faster, that’s why our classes are available in the evenings and on weekends to meet your schedule.

Similar programs can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000, but ARC offers the same training at an affordable cost, with tuition costs totaling around $1,400.

Upon completion of the program, students will have earned the Residential/Commercial Electrician Trainee Certificate, which is in compliance with state regulations. The certificate allows graduates to pursue potential career paths in fields such as utilities, manufacturing, construction and renewable energy. The average range of estimated wages for after your first year is $70,000 a year so get started today!
