Foster and Kinship Care: Navigating the Tween & Teen Years: Development from Ages 9–18 (4 hours)

This course examines the rapid physical, emotional, and psychological changes during preteen and teenage years. Foster parents will gain insight into adolescent brain development, identity formation, and behavioral shifts. Strategies for building trust and maintaining open communication with teens are included.
