The ACE Study is the epidemiology of childhood adversity, or how many people experience different types of childhood trauma, to what degree, and what happens as a result. In this class you will learn how toxic stress from these childhood experiences damages our brain, how toxic stress affects our body and how resilience research is showing that our brains are plastic and our bodies want to heal. You will leave with tools on how can we promote resiliency in children who have experienced trauma and other adversities along with resources to support you.
