SMART is an acronym that represents a framework for creating effective goals. You will learn how to apply the SMART goals in relationship to DBT. It stands for five qualities your goals should have. They should be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. The SMART method is one of the most popular and effective tools for creating realistic and achievable goals. You can use this goal setting method to help you, your family, and your children/foster children to improve your chances of success at home, at school, in therapy, and in life. This class will help you develop specific goals that are relevant to you and your families’ specific needs.
