MET is a 2-year program focused on the commercial HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Condition, and Refrigeration) industry as the hours, pay, benefits, and conditions are typically better compared to the residential market.
IMMT grew out of industry needs and the MET department’s expertise in industrial equipment. IMMT focuses on the maintaining and programing the equipment that moves, processes, or builds the products society consumes.
Jobs are available to our students long before the completion of our MET program. The industry is supportive of our program and has hired many motivated individuals even before entering the program with the understanding that they attend and complete it.
Please RSVP for this in-person boot camp to find out what a day is like working in the field, meet potential employers, find out what classes are needed to complete the program, and receive assistance with applying to the college.
The Refugee Career Pathways Program with Los Rios Community College District invites you to participate in Entrepreneurship Training! Attend this training to learn how to run your own business, manage money, and gain leadership skills. This workshop is open to to all individuals who have been in the US for less than five years and have a status of Refugee, Asylee, or SIV.
Please register by November 18, 2022.
