Are you good with a mobile phone and know how to create content? Maybe you are ready to go to the next level and become a professional content creator. Unfortunately, cell phone footage on TikTok won't get you through the door at any local TV station – but, if you bring your talent and innovations to Access Sacramento, we will give you the skills and training to use the industry standard cameras, studio, and gear to make your idea for a show into a reality and a career!
Access Sacramento is a non-profit community Media Center passionate about inclusion, equity, diversity, and localism. Our TV and Radio stations' content is produced by the community for the community. We offer hands-on training and certifications on equipment and the studio as well as real-time experience in a busy TV and Radio station. Our interns, volunteers, and staff have frequently gone on to other local TV stations and made content as filmmakers, video bloggers, podcasters, radio hosts, and more.
We offer experience in Sports Broadcasting, News Reporting, Show Hosting, Studio Operation, Crew work, Camera work, Marketing, and so much more in TV and Radio.
