ARC 15 vs Santa Rosa 3
ARC 13 vs Foothill 7
ARC hosted the NorCal Tournament.
ARC went in as the first seed and finished the first
seed, earning their second NorCal Championship.
ARC matched up with the winner of the #4/5 game Santa
Rosa, with a dominate win of 15-3. Ali Livingston and Cailin
Jope both scored 4, Renfro had 3, Orlova with 2 and Bisharat and
Ring each added 1. Haflich added to great defense with 9 blocks.
ARC later played Foothill and had a great win with a score of
13-7. Mariah
Livingston had 4 goals, 4 steals, 2 assists and her best game of
the season, thus far!!
Ali Livingston and Haley Ring both added 3 goals, while
Bisharat, Jope and Orlova contributed 1 each.
Haflich had 9 blocks, 1 steal and 3 assist.
A solid team approach with a great win.

Big 8 Conference Tournament
ARC 17 vs. Diablo Valley 2
ARC
16 vs. Santa Rosa 6
Last weekend
ARC traveled to Diablo Valley College for the Big 8 Conference
Tournament. ARC took on the host school DVC for their first
match up and beat them 17-2. ARC then advanced to the
championship game and played Santa Rosa winning 16-6. ARC
claimed the Big 8 Conference Championship and earned the #1 seed
for the upcoming NorCal Tournament Nov 12-13 at American River
College. ARC will bye on Friday and open Saturday morning
playing the winner of the Santa Rosa DVC match up at 8am.
ARC had 6
women named to the All Conference teams, with Ali Livingston
voted Player of The Year for the Big 8 Conference and NorCals.
Adrienne Bisharat, and Cailin Jope were also voted to 1st Team
All Conference and All NorCal, while Haley Ring, Nicolette
Haflich and Mariah Livingston were voted 2nd Team All Conference
& All NorCal. Ali, Adrienne, Cailin and Haley were automatic
All-Americans as well.

Big 8 Conference game vs. Modesto
ARC 13 vs. Modesto 3
ARC lead Modesto 4-0 at the end of the first
quarter. Ali Livingston put in another great performance
with 4 goals, 5 steals, 2 assists and 1 ejection drawn.
Sophomore, Haley Ring had one of her best games with 2 goals, 5
steals, 2 assists and 2 shot blocks. Adding to the team
effort were Bisharat and Renfro with 2 goals each, and Orlova,
Nikolai and Jope each added 1. Nicolette Haflich added great
defense with 6 blocks and one steal in the goal.

ARC Masters and Alumni Games
ARC 5 vs. Open 1
ARC had the opportunity to take on the local
Masters team comprised of senior players with a host of ability
and talent. This was a great opportunity for the team to play
against experienced athletes who capitalized on any mistakes,
and not only played but coached the young beavers. A great game
for all.
ARC 16 vs. Alumni 8
A fun filled game cheering for the beavers at
both ends!! The alumni were awesome, talented and full of spirit
they played a tough game. The young beavers were able to wear
them out as the long 8 minute quarters went on. There were well
over 30 little ones running the deck cheering on their alumni
moms! It was the most enjoyable game of the season and always
great to see all of these great ladies! Thank You Alumni!!

Big 8 Conference Game vs. Santa Rosa
ARC 14 vs. Santa Rosa 4
ARC won their 5th Big 8 Conference game this
afternoon, and is currently the only team without a loss in the
Big 8. The team had an opportunity to work on 2 new defenses.
Freshman Cailin Jope had a big game with 4 goals, 1 steal and 4
ejections drawn. Ali Livingston supported her efforts with 4
goals, 3 steals, 2 assist and 2 ejections drawn. Adrienne
Bisharat and Marissa Renfro contributed a pair of goals while
Orlova and Teerlink each added one goal each. Goalie Nicolette
Haflich had 7 saves and Teerlink had 1.

Big 8 Conference Game vs. Diablo
Valley College
ARC 17 vs. DVC 1
ARC got off to a slow start with DVC.
DVC scored the very first goal of the game and their last goal.
Center Ali Livingston had her biggest scoring game yet with 8
goals, 6 out of 2 meters. Adrienne Bisharat added 4 more
goals. Adrianna Teerlink, field player and goalie went in
at the start of the third quarter and within the first 10
seconds of being in, scored, stole a ball and assisted.
Adrianna Teerlink had a second goal out of 2 meters, her first
goals of the season. Adding to the score were Jope with a
pair and Kurz with a goal from extra man play. Jope had
stats in every column, scoring, steals, assists, kick outs drawn
and shot blocks! Goalie Nicolette Haflich had 8 blocks for
the day.

Big 8 Conference Game vs. Fresno
ARC 14 vs. Fresno 9
ARC opened with a 6-2 lead in the first quarter over Fresno
City. The team focused on converting in man up
opportunities with Ali Livingston drawing 3 ejections and Orlova,
Klenner and Kurz added one the team was 5-1 in converting in
their extra man. Scoring for the beavers, Ali Livingston
had 4 goals, Adrienne Bisharat had 3, Marissa Renfro with 2, and
Mariah Livingston, Haley Ring, Morgan Kurz, Cailin Jope, Katie
Nikolai all contributed a goal. Goalie Nicolette Haflich
had 4 blocks in the first half and Adrianna Teerlink had 6 in
the second half. A long trip to Fresno but a positive result!

ARC 14 vs Delta 4
ARC took a commanding lead with a 7-1 start at the end of the
first quarter. Ali Livingston with 4 and Cailin Jope with
3 lead the team in scoring. Bisharat added a pair of goals
and Orlova, M Livingston, Renfro, and Kurz added a goal. Cailin
Jope lead the team in steals with 5 picks on the perimeter, 3
resulting in goals.
The team was able to defend all 4 man down attacks. The
entire team was able to play significant minutes for a team win.

ARC 15 vs. Sierra 6
ARC lead the game from the start through the
finish. Center Ali Livingston scored 5 goals from center
and drew 3 kick outs. Freshman Marissa Renfro out of Casa
Robles HS had 3 goals, Sophomores Ring and Bisharat both had a
pair of goals, while Orlova, M Livingston and Nikolai
contributed 1 each. Goalie Nicolette Haflich had 7 blocks
and all the beavers had an opportunity to play significant
minutes for a team win.

ARC beat defending State Champions Golden
West
ARC 9 vs. Golden West 8 in Over Time
With the college
president on the deck the women’s team scored first against
Golden West. At the end of the 1st
quarter the score was 2-1 ARC. At half 4-3 ARC. In
the third quarter Golden West pulled ahead leading by one 7-8
Golden West. At the end of regulation ARC and Golden West
were tied 8-8. In the first minute of overtime center, Ali
Livingston drew a kick out and Cailin Jope scored on man up
offense for a final of 9-8.

ARC Women open season with Foothill
ARC 8 vs. Foothill 4
American River College women opened the
2010 season at their home pool against Foothill College out
of the Coast Conference. At the end of the first quarter
the teams were tied at 1 each. At half ARC had taken the
lead 4-1, 6-2 at the end of 3rd quarter with a
final of 8-4. Freshman Cailin Jope of Rio Americano high
school lead the scoring with 3 goals, while freshman center,
Ali Livingston drew 3 ejections. Freshman goalie Nicolette
Haflich had 8 saves. The entire team had an opportunity to
play and made for a very productive day for the beavers.
