ANDERSON SIGNS WITH ARMSTRONG ATLANTIC
American
River College third baseman Richie Anderson (Marysville) has signed
a National Letter of Intent with Armstrong Atlantic University in
Savannah, Georgia head baseball coach Doug Jumelet announced.
I think this is a great fit for both Richie and for Armstrong
Atlantic. Their head coach Joe Roberts is a hall of fame coach
and the President of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
He is a very well respected coach who has turned out very good
teams, several major league players, and most importantly
outstanding young men and members of society. Armstrong
Atlantic is a top 25 Division 2 university with very rigorous
admissions standards. The Beavers have had only one other
player go to Armstrong, Mark Harvey (Oakmont) in 1994. We
have been trying for years to get a good quality player with the
grades to go play there and it finally worked out. Richie has
a lot of talent and will fit in nicely with Coach Roberts, whom I
respect very much.
CACHOT DUNCAN SIGNES WITH NEW MEXICO
HIGHLANDS
American River College sophomore Cachot Duncan (Woodland) has signed
a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play for New Mexico Highlands
University next season. I am very happy for Cachot to get this
opportunity. He is a great person who will represent us well down
there. We have had several players play for Coach Jones and I think
Cachot will be able to reach his potential down there, says head
coach Doug Jumelet. New Mexico Highlands head coach Steve Jones was
a longtime assistant at U.C. Davis and his pitching coach John
Bentley has spent time coaching at Shasta College and Lassen College
as the head coach.

CHAVEZ TAKEN BY THE TWINS
Sophomore left-handed pitcher Dylan Chavez
(Pleasant Grove) was drafted in the 32nd round by the
Minnesota Twins on Wednesday. Chavez started 10 games for the
Beavers this season and was 2nd on the team in ERA.
He has signed a letter of intent to play for the University of
Mississippi next season.
We are very happy for Dylan to get drafted this
year and hopefully whatever he wants to do works out for him.
He has the scholarship to "Ole Miss" and I know the Twins are very
interested in signing him so he has options which is a good thing,
said Head Coach Doug Jumelet.
Chavez is the first Beaver taken in the draft
since Jeff Lease (Oakmont) and Mark Lincoln (Casa Roble) were
drafted in 2008.

TWO BEAVERS MAKE ALL-BIG 8 TEAMS
Sophomore Mike Keegan (Mira Loma) made
the All-Big 8 Conference 1st team as a utility player on
Wednesday night. Keegan was 2nd in the league in batting
average at .392 and 2nd in doubles with 8. He played LF
and caught for the Beavers.
I am very happy for Mike. He has come
a long way since his time at Mira Loma and we knew he could be
really good. His work ethic and character allowed him to become a
very good player at this level and will allow him to have success at
the next level and in life. He really deserved this, said Head
Coach Doug Jumelet.
Craig Meredith (Jesuit)was named to the
All-Big 8 Conference 2nd team for the 2nd year
in a row as an infielder. Meredith played mostly 2B last year and
started all but one game at SS this year. He hit .303 in conference
play and was 6th in the league with 6 doubles. Craig
had another solid year, and like I have been saying, he did
everything well this year. Another outstanding person, he has a
bright future ahead of him and I have really enjoyed being around
him. He will really be missed.

coach Doug Jumelet announced. Cesario was a two-year starter for
the Beavers who was named Big 8 Conference honorable mention in 2010
after his freshman year. Nick had an outstanding freshman year and
a solid sophomore season for us, and I think that he will do well
out there. Coach Chris Terry is doing a good job and he is a
Sacramento guy, having played at Cosumnes River College. We have
had several players go out there and do very well and I think Nick
will do the same. He has been a solid catcher in the best
conference in the state for two years and that should really help
him out, said Coach Jumelet. Culver-Stockton is currently 24-4 in
the Heartland of America Conference.

in the 3rd inning but 2B Nick Paine (Jesuit) popped up to
first on the first pitch and C Nick Cesario (Oakmont) struck out to
end the inning. The Beavers runs came in the 8th
inning when 1B Lydell Moseby (Granite Bay) hit an 0-2 pitch over the

National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play for Division II powerhouse
Abilene Christian University it was announced. Kevin was 2nd
team All-Big 8 Conference in 2009, hitting .371 overall and .400
exactly in conference play. Kevin is a very good player and more
importantly a very good person. He played right field for us as a
freshman and handled it very well. He is extremely athletic and
will fit in very nicely at ACU, said head coach Doug Jumelet. The
Beavers have had several players move on to ACU including assistant
coach Johnny Zepeda (Rio Linda), Steve Camillucci (Del Oro) and
current Seattle Mariner farmhand Preston Vancil (West Campus).
Coach Bonneau does a great job identifying talent and he got a good
one in Kevin, said Coach Jumelet. Abilene is consistently ranked
in the top 10 in Division II.
Sophomore LHP Sean Winslow (Sheldon) signed with
Northern State University in South Dakota, an NAIA school and will
transfer there in January. Sean pitched last year as a freshman and
will have 3 years to play at Northern State. Sean is one of the
hardest working guys on the team, easily. He has the type of stuff
that should allow him to get into the starting rotation up there and
he is another example of us doing what we can to help these guys get
their education paid for. He really deserves the opportunity to go
up there and have a lot of success, said Coach Jumelet. I think
it is the best chance for him to get a lot of innings this year,
then have 2 more years in that program. It should really help him
become a leader of their staff.

2 BEAVERS SIGN NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT
2 current American River College
baseball players have signed National Letters of Intent (NLI) to
play at Division 1 schools next year.
3rd year sophomore outfielder Ryan
Dettman (Del Campo) signed with Oregon State of the Pac-10
Conference. Ryan is the first player from A.R.C. to move on to
play for the Beavers. In 2010 Ryan was a unanimous 1st
team All-Big 8 Conference selection after hitting .413 with 15 extra

deserving of this scholarship, said Head Coach Doug Jumelet.
He is a complete player, he can really, really run, he has a plus
arm, handles the elements well defensively, is a good hitter with
some power and is a tremendous person. He has brought very
good leadership to the team and I couldnt be happier for him and
his family. Ryan was also recruited by U.C. Riverside and
Auburn University.
Dylan Chavez is a left handed pitcher who signed
with the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) of the South Eastern
Conference. Dylan spent last year at St. Marys College in
Moraga where he started several games for the Gaels. Dylan
prepped at Pleasant Grove High School and was planning on attending
A.R.C. before being offered the scholarship at St. Marys.
Dylan is the first Beaver to sign with an SEC school since David
Ferazza went to the University of Alabama in 2004. Dylan was
also recruited by the University of Miami as well as Sac State.
Dylan has come in and fit right in with the guys and he should
follow in the long line of Beaver Division 1 lefties that we have
had including guys like Manny Parra, Dallas Braden (Texas Tech),
Ryan Knippschild (Kansas), Quinn Monsma (Oklahoma State), Jeff Lease
(Long Beach St.) and Glenn DeWeese (UNLV). He has very good
stuff, a great work ethic and had handled the attention pretty well.

has signed a letter of intent to play for Indiana
University-Southeast it was announced on Thursday. I.U.SE is
an NAIA school in New Albany, Indiana. Mychal will be transferring

in his hand a week before the start of the season which forced him
to redshirt in 2010. He hit leadoff and played CF as a freshman
while leading the team in stolen bases with 16 in 2009.
I am very proud of Mychal, said Coach Jumelet.
After his injury he could have gotten down and let his grades slip
but he stayed in shape and stayed on top of his grades so he is able
to accept this scholarship. He would have really helped us
this year. He had a great fall and had worked hard on several
aspects of his game, but we are really happy that he will be
continuing his career and getting his education paid for.

BEAVERS BEAT RIVAL PANTHERS IN 10 INNING
SLUGFEST
American River College
outslugged the 2010 Big 8 Conference champion Sacramento City
College Panthers 13-12 in 10 innings at Beaver Field on Wednesday.
On a day with the wind blowing straight out, there was only one home
run hit, a drive to right field by Sac City RF Eli Hynes that would
have been out on just about any day. Wednesday was the final
home game for the 2010 Beavers and they went out with a bang.
A.R.C. scored five times in the first inning, highlighted by a two
run triple to right center by LF Taylor Wilkinson (Ponderosa), who
was playing in his last home game as a Beaver before going up to
Canada to play football at Simon Fraser University. The
Beavers would score four more times in the 3rd
inning to take a 9-3 lead. Sophomore starter Kevin Rowell
(Winters) was shaky, he walked 7 in 5 innings of work but he battled
and got good enough offensive support to leave in the 6th
with a 12-7 lead. Sophomore reliever Andrew Graham (Ponderosa)
came on and had a chance to close it out in the 9th
but the Beavers defense was uncharacteristically shaky in the 8th
and 9th.
The Panthers scored a run in the 8th
with 2 outs on an error by 2B Craig Meredith (Jesuit), then scored
in the 9th
after a throwing error by C Nick Cesario (Oakmont) allowed the tying
run to get to 3rd
on a stolen base attempt. The Beavers won the game in the 10th
as Sophomore SS Greg Meyer doubled to left center to lead off the 10th.
Sophomore 3B Joe Whitehead (Woodland) then walked. 1B Lydell
Moseby (Granite Bay) was then intentionally walked after a wild
pitch moved the runners to 2nd
and 3rd.
Nick Cesario then drove a 1-2 pitch into left center with the bases
loaded and no outs to drive in Meyer and win the game for the
Beavers. It was A.R.C.s first win over the cross-town rival
Panthers since April 21st
2007.
The Beavers and Panthers will play the rubber match of the three
game series Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Sacramento City College. That
game will be the final game of the 2010 season for the Beavers.

(Del Campo) to get to Meyer. Meyer then homered over the right
field fence for his second dinger of the season. The Beavers
pounded out 18 hits on Saturday and LHP Scotty Grunert (Woodland)
pitched seven strong innings but got the no-decision.

(Oakmont) 2 run single in the first. Beaver starter Kevin
Rowell was cruising through the first four innings, allowing no runs

inning throwing 12 balls on 13 pitches. Reliever Max Everingham (Oak
Ridge) came on and gave up a 2 run double to make the game 7-4.

bases. LHP Tyler Newton (Oak Ridge) came on and gave up a 2 strike
triple to tie the game and a ground ball scored the go ahead run.
The Beavers threatened in the bottom of the 9th,
getting runner to 2nd
and 3rd
with one out but Cesario struck out and pinch hitter Jess
Covarruvias (Franklin, Stockton) flew out to end the game. Beavers
2B Craig Meredith (Jesuit) had 2 doubles on the day and Joe
Whitehead (Woodland) continued his hot hitting with three more hits.
Whitehead was 8x16 on the week with 6 RBI.

BEAVERS GIVE IT UP LATE
In a game that was much closer than the score
would indicate, American River College lost 10-3 at home to Santa
Rosa on Tuesday. It was the Beavers first home game since the
13th of March. With the score tied 3-3 in the top
of the 8th Beaver third baseman Richie Anderson
(Marysville) bounced a throw to first which got away from Lydell
Moseby (Granite Bay) to let the leadoff guy on base. After a
sac bunt and a ground out the Beavers brought in relief ace Tyler
Newton (Oak Ridge) to face the Bear Cubs left-handed hitting first
baseman. Newton walked that batter and then gave up a single
to put Santa Rosa ahead 4-3. Santa Rosa put together another
rally in the 9th with a leadoff single and a 1 out double
put runners at 2nd & 3rd. Newton then
intentionally walked the next batter to load the bases. Santa
Rosas catcher then hit a hard ground ball to Beaver second baseman
Nick Paine (Jesuit) which should have been an inning ending double
play. The ball however, went right through Paines legs,
allowing all three runners to score. The next batter doubled
and the Bear Cubs went on to score six runs in the 9th
inning. The loss is the 7th in a row for the
Beavers who started the season 10-3. Santa Rosa comes back to
Beaver Field on Thursday, March 25 for a 2:30 start.

BEAVERS GIVE IT AWAY AT HOME
Seventh ranked American River
College made three costly errors at home on Thursday, allowing 6
unearned runs as defending Big 8 Conference champion Diablo Valley
College defeated the Beavers 9-5. The Beavers scored twice in
the 2nd
inning after a costly DVC mistake, as 2B Nick Paine (Jesuit) led off
by striking out, but DVCs catcher threw the ball away, allowing
Paine to get all the way to third. 3B Richie Anderson
(Marysville) then hit a sac fly to score Paine. DH Jess
Covarruvias (Franklin) then singled and advanced on a wild pitch.
RF Ryan Dettman (Del Campo) then singled home Covarruvias.
Starting pitcher Scotty
Grunert (Woodland) then got the first two outs in the 3rd
on five pitches. The next batter then reached third on a
misplayed fly ball by LF Joe Whitehead (Woodland). After a
walk and a hit batter, DVC RF Mitch Petrak hit a slow grounder to
second which was thrown away by Paine, allowing two runs to score.
The next batter then followed with a 2 run single. The Vikings
scored 4 runs on 1 hit in the inning.
The Beavers would retake the
lead in the 4th,
thanks mostly to a 2 run single by Ryan Dettman, who finished the
day 3x5 with 3 RBI and 2 stolen bases.
The Vikings broke the game
open in the 8th
on a one out 2B, followed by a single off of Grunert. Reliever
Andrew Graham (Ponderosa) then came in and walked the only 2 batters
he faced. Tyler Newton (Oak Ridge) then came in and got a fly ball
to center which scored a run making the score 7-5. The next
batter then hit a ground ball through the legs of Anderson at third,
then a wild pitch scored the final run for DVC.
The Beavers return to action Saturday at home to face the #8 ranked
Sierra College Wolverines, who are 2-0 in Big 8 play.

BEAVERS GET HUMBLED AT CRC
#8 ranked American River
College took their worst beating of the season at the hands of the
#2 ranked Cosumnes River Hawks 12-1 at Conway Field on Tuesday.
Little went right for the Beavers, who managed more wild pitches
than hits on the day. RF Ryan Dettman (Del Campo) led off the
first with his team leading 8th
double of the season, then stole third, but was thrown out at the
plate trying to score on a ground ball to third. In the 2nd
inning C Nick Cesario (Oakmont) led off the inning with a double but
was thrown out trying to advance to third on a ground ball hit in
front of him to short. In the 4th
inning LF Joe Whitehead (Woodland) led off the inning with a double
but was stranded at third base. Whitehead was playing left field for
the first time in his A.R.C. career and made a spectacular leaping
catch to rob CRC DH Brock Neil of a home run in the 1st
inning.
Cosumnes River pounded out 18 hits off of six Beaver pitchers who
also walked 10 and threw 6 wild pitches on the day. The Beavers fall
to 10-4 on the season and 1-1 in Big 8 Conference play. The Beavers
return home for the first time since February 25th on
Thursday to face Diablo Valley College, a final four team and
defending Big 8 Conference champions at 2:30 p.m.

BEAVERS WIN BIG 8 OPENER ON THE ROAD
The #8 ranked American River College won their
2010 conference opener on the road, defeating #9 ranked Santa Rosa
8-5 on Saturday. The game was supposed to have been played at
A.R.C. but the schools decided to play at Santa Rosa because of the
threat of rain earlier in the week.
The Bear Cubs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the
first off of Beaver starter Kevin Rowell (Winters). Rowell
settled down to hold the Bear Cubs scoreless until the 5th
when Rowell allowed a leadoff single, followed by a bunt single.
The next batter bunted down the third base line, Rowell fielded it
and threw the ball away allowing a run to score. The next
batter hit a ground ball to short but the double play turn was
thrown away, allowing another run to score. A wild pitch
followed and then a sac fly gave Santa Rosa a 5-0 lead.
The game stayed 5-0 until the 8th when
the Beavers finally got to Bear Cub starter Gavin Mills. RF
Ryan Dettman (Del Campo) hit a one out double to left center, which
was followed by a Greg Meyer (CBS) walk which chased Mills out of
the game. After a Joe Whitehead (Woodland) ground out 1B
Lydell Moseby (Granite Bay) singled in the first Beaver run of the
game. Pinch hitter Jess Covarruvias (Franklin, Stockton) then
singled throught the left side to score Meyer. 2B Nick Paine
(Jesuit) then doubled to right center scoring two, making it a 5-4
game. In the 9th inning LF Spencer Williams
(Oakmont) led off with a walk, then Ryan Dettman followed with a
bunt single. After a wild pitch Greg Meyer was walked
intentionally. Joe Whitehead then got the big hit, a 2 run
single to right to put the Beavers up 6-5. Lydell Moseby then
singled in Meyer, picking up his 2nd RBI of the game.
The scoring was capped off by C Matt Beam (Rio Americano), who
singled to right, scoring Whitehead.
Tyler Newton (Oak Ridge) struck out the side in
the 9th to earn his 2nd win of the season.
The Beavers are now 10-3 on the season and 1-0 in
Big 8 play. They travel across town on Tuesday to play #2
ranked Cosumnes River College at 2:30 pm.

BEAVERS #8 IN FIRST 2010 POLLS
The first rankings for the 2010 season have come
out and the Beavers are ranked #8 in Northern California in both the
coaches poll and the RPI poll. The Beavers received one first
place vote in the coaches poll. The #8 ranking represents the
highest the Beavers have been ranked since the 2006 season when they
started out 12-5 through the non-conference part of the schedule.
The Beavers were ranked #8 in the Ratings
Percentage Index (RPI) poll which takes into account strength of
schedule and games played on the road. The RPI is one of the
contributing factors to playoff seeding at the end of the season.
A.R.C. takes on Santa Rosa J.C. tomorrow at 1:00
p.m. at Santa Rosa. The Bear Cubs are #9 in the coaches poll
and #15 in the RPI.
March 3, 2010
SATURDAYS GAME SWITCHED TO SANTA ROSA
The Big 8 Conference season opener between A.R.C.
and Santa Rosa has been switched to Santa Rosa because of the threat
of rain in Sacramento on Saturday. Santa Rosa has a brand new
Field Turf facility which should allow the game to be played.
The switch will allow the game to not have to be made up on Monday,
therefore allowing the student-athletes to attend class on Monday.
The switch will then force Santa Rosa to come to A.R.C. on March 23rd,
when the teams were supposed to play at Santa Rosa.

BEAVERS GET SWEPT AT HOME
American River College dropped both ends of a doubleheader to
preseason #11 ranked San Jose City College at Beaver Field on
Thursday. Game 1 saw a dominating performance by San Jose City
starter Don Medlinger, who gave up a 3 run home run to Ryan Dettman
(Del Campo) in the third inning. That was one of four hits the
Beavers would get all game. LHP Scotty Grunert (Woodland) threw
well, shutting out the Jaguars into the 5th inning, but
an error on a potential inning ending double play cost A.R.C. two
runs in the 5th. San Jose scored 5 times in the 6th,
aided by two errors and a miscommunication on a bunt which helped
San Joses rally.
The Beavers swung the bats a little better in game 2, as they had 10
hits, including a solo home run from CF Nick Ewing (Oakmont) and a 2
run double from 1B Lydell Moseby (Granite Bay), but the Beavers
walked 7 Jaguar batters, including one with the bases loaded, and
the Beavers committed 3 more errors.
A.R.C. travels to Solano College for a rare Sunday game at 1:00 p.m.
and then goes to Yuba College on Tuesday to get ready for the start
of league play next Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Beaver Field versus

BEAVERS WIN STREAK HITS 8, THEN ENDS IN GAME 2 VERSUS HARTNELL
American River College set what is believed to be a school record
season opening win streak with a 10-9 victory over Hartnell College
in game 1 of a double-header at Beaver Field on Thursday. The win
improved the Beavers record to 8-0. Game 2 saw the streak come to an
end however as the Beavers dropped the nightcap 8-7 despite a record
tying day by RF Ryan Dettman (Del Campo). Dettman led the Beavers
with a school record tying 3 doubles as well as tying the school
record for stolen bases in a game with 4. That record was tied
earlier in the year by sophomore Nick Ewing (Oakmont). The Beavers
gave up 6 runs in the 3rd inning and trailed for several
innings before tying the game in the 7th inning on a
pinch hit double by sophomore Greg Meyer (CBS). Hartnell then scored
two in the top of the 8th to take an 8-6 lead. A.R.C.
answered back with a run on a Joe Whitehead (Woodland) single which
scored Dettman who had doubled and stolen 3rd. With
Whitehead at first Greg Meyer then lined out to the shortstop to end
the game.
The Beavers road game versus Hartnell has been tentatively
rescheduled to Tuesday, March 30th in Salinas. The
Beavers now go on the road Tuesday to face Solano College at 2:00
p.m. then return home on Thursday to face San Jose City College for
a game that was originally scheduled for Saturday. Fridays game
versus San Jose City remains unchanged and will start at 2:00 p.m.

BEAVERS MAKE IT EXCITING, EXTEND WIN STREAK TO 7
The first six innings of Tuesdays game versus Yuba College were
fairly uneventful. The Beavers trailed 2-1 going into the 7th. In
the bottom of the 7th the Beavers began to rally with a
leadoff walk to LF Taylor Wilkinson (Ponderosa). SS Greg Meyer
(CBS) then bunted Wilkinson over and Wilkinson tried to reach third
with nobody covering the bag. He was thrown out at 3rd
which resulted in Head Coach Doug Jumelet being ejected from the
game. The Beavers then rallied, getting a 2 out double to left by
RF Ryan Dettman (Del Campo) to tie the score, then 3B Joe Whitehead
(Woodland) followed with an RBI single to score Dettman. The Beavers
held the 3-2 lead into the 9th when Yuba College LF Tyler
Updike hit a 2 out 2-2 slider for a two-run home run to give Yuba
the lead off of starter Scotty Grunert (Woodland). The Beavers
again came back in the bottom half of the 9th when Greg
Meyer reached on an error by the Yuba 2B. After a sacrifice bunt by
CF Nick Ewing (Oakmont), Dettman walked and Whitehead was hit by a
pitch to load the bases. 1B Lydell Moseby (Granite Bay) then singled
up the middle past a diving Yuba College SS for a dramatic 5-4 win
for the Beavers. A.R.C. improves to 7-0 on the season. LHP Tyler
Newton (Oak Ridge) came on to throw one pitch in getting the final
out in the top of the 9th to get his first collegiate
victory. The Beavers return to action tomorrow at home in a noon
doubleheader versus Hartnell College. These games were originally
scheduled for Saturday but a construction delay at Hartnell has
forced the games to be moved to A.R.C. The single game at Hartnell
will be made up at a later date.

BEAVERS SWEEP THE WEEK, REMAIN UNBEATEN
American River College defeated #3 ranked Feather River College 8-2

from CF Nick Ewing (Oakmont) on Friday and a 3 hit, 2 RBI day from
RF Ryan Dettman (Del Campo) to lead the Beavers past the Golden
Eagles. Sophomore RHP Taylor Hoffman (Roseville) was very effective
in earning his first win of the season.
The Beavers won again on Saturday thanks in large part to a bases
loaded triple by freshman CF Spencer Williams (Oakmont) to cap off a
4 run bottom of the 5th for A.R.C. Freshman C Matt Beam
(Rio Americano) gave the Beavers the lead in the 5th with
a bases loaded 1B. Freshman LHP Max Everingham (Oak Ridge) got his

versus Shasta College in 2009 by giving themselves a 13-1 lead
through the first four innings at Beaver Field on Thursday. The
Beavers got out to a 2-0 lead in the first thanks to a 2 run home
run by Lydell Moseby (Granite Bay). It was Mosebys 2nd
home run of the year. The Beavers scored in the 2nd on a
sac fly by SS Greg Meyer (Christian Brothers). After scoring twice
in the 3rd the Beavers put up 8 in the 4th
inning, highlighted by a Nick Paine (Jesuit) two run double. Paine
was 5x5 on the day with a double, home run and 5 RBI. Austin Palmer
(Folsom) worked the first five innings for the Beavers to get the
win, as he left with a 13-2 lead. Shasta scored three runs in the 8th
inning, thanks to a two run home run by 1B Cody McCary. McCary then
hit a grand slam in the 9th inning as the Knights scored

give it up and regain the lead for a rain soaked victory at Caada
College on Thursday. The Beavers defeated the Colts 13-10 for their
first victory over Caada in three years. A.R.C. jumped out to an
early 6-1 lead after four innings with Austin Palmer (Folsom)
getting his first career start. The freshman left-hander was
cruising through four innings, having allowed just one hit while
striking out three when trouble struck in the fifth. After a pair of
walks and a hit batsman, the Colts would score seven times in the
fifth off of relievers Andrew Graham (Ponderosa) and Max Everingham
(Oak Ridge). The Beavers rallied to take the lead in the 7th
thanks in part to three consecutive doubles by 3B Joe Whitehead
(Woodland), 1B Lydell Moseby (Granite Bay), and C Richie Anderson
(Marysville). Caada again tied it up in the bottom of the 7th
but the Beavers took the lead for good in the 8th,
