North Valley Biotechnology Center

The mission of the North Valley Biotechnology Center (NVBC) is to provide biotechnology and related industries with a regional point-of-contact with community college programs and services.

The center conducts programs and services specifically targeting the needs of businesses, colleges and government agencies. Among the services provided are:

  • Job training

  • Regional employment information

  • Specialized workshops and training for community college and high school instructors

  • Development of biotechnology training programs

  • Seminars and forums to educate the community about biotechnology

  • Facilitating collaboration among economic development agencies, colleges, industry, and government

To utilize any of these services, or to discuss custom training or other specialized services, please contact the NVBC. Serving the Sacramento region and Northern California to support the economic and workforce development of the biotechnology industry through utilization of the community colleges' capacity for training.
