BEAVERS BATS GET HOT
American River College came out swinging against Diablo Valley on Tuesday. The Beavers had fifteen hits in four innings. Kaysea Lennard had her first homerun of the season, and Michelle Tarlandoukht’s bat stayed hot, going two for three at the plate with a double. KK Tipton had two hits, each one a double, bringing in a total of three runs. Sara Dodge was the other Beaver with two hits, and every ARC batter had a least one hit! Tipton started on the mound, and she pitched three shutout innings with six strike outs. Erin Hidalgo came in to close in the fourth and fifth, giving up one run.
